Join IAHM for this unforgettable, one-of-a-kind retelling of James Joyce’s Ulysses!

James Joyce’s epic story of one day in Dublin city is brought to life in this inventive new show. This project - initially intended to reinvent the classic for audiences aged 8 and upwards - has proven to be a brilliant re-envisioning and re-telling for all ages. Combining live performance, intricate paper design, and an original score supplementing the odyssey envisioned by Joyce, this is theatre that will excite both young and old.

Branar's "You'll See" was originally commissioned by and produced as part of Ulysses 2.2, a collaborative project between ANU, Landmark Productions and Museum of Literature Ireland. Ulysses 2.2 was a year-long, nationwide programme of thrilling new artistic experiments launched in 2022, created by a rich and diverse gathering of established and emerging Irish artists, presented in a range of live performances, digital commissions and installations.

Branar's "You'll See" is designed for children aged 8+, and - well - their adults, as well.

This performance, which is direct from Ireland, was funded by an Open Call award from The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon, and presented in partnership with Dublin City Council, St Patrick’s Festival, Arts & Disability Ireland, Irish National Opera, Branar, CoisCéim, United Fall, Cork Midsummer Festival, Dublin Port Company and Poetry Ireland.

The Irish American Heritage Museum is grateful for the above, for making Branar's "You'll See" possible, as well as IAHM's event sponsors: Common Roots Brewing Company, ParkAlbany, and the Flanagan Family.
