We are delighted to announce the debut performance in Albany on Monday March 6th at 7.00pm of The Druids Irish Folk band. This 4 piece band is based in Co. Kildare Ireland and are an international award-winning band with a brilliant collection of Irish music, stories and craic! Their new, theatre-based show, 'The History of Ireland through Song,' is both educational and entertaining, describing all the different eras of Ireland's history, and is a must for all lovers of Irish song, music, and history.
They burst on to the Irish stage early in 2008, and more than a decade later, The Druids are now an integral part of the Irish Folk Scene. Their songs carry the story of Ireland and are delivered with passion and conviction. The Druids have completed tours of Ireland, Scotland, UK, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Spain and in the USA.
