IAHM To Host Global Wellness Day 2025 in Albany

The Irish American Heritage Museum (IAHM) is proud to announce its participation in Global Wellness Day 2025, joining millions across the world in celebrating the theme of #ReconnectMagenta. This global movement, taking place throughout the museum on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 3-8 PM, emphasizes the importance of meaningful human connections in enhancing overall well-being.

This is a free, family-friendly event from 3:00–8:00 PM at 21 Quackenbush Square in Albany, offering a vibrant lineup of activities designed to reconnect participants with their heritage, community, and themselves.

At 6:00 PM, there will be a special film screening of Two Roads Diverged, to commemorate Albany’s Juneteenth Weekend Celebrations on Global Wellness Day 2025. Two Roads Diverged, which features Lynwood O. Sloan and the late Mick Maloney, was Directed by Susan Wittenberg. Two Roads Diverged is a documentary about a shared journey between Black and Irish Americans. This movie explores how Irish people and African Americans in the United States found a commonality through music, song and dance.
