There's still time to register to run in the inaugural Irish Sweat-er Run, just go to albanyrunningexchange.org. (Online registration closes at 10am, Friday, 3/16). Registered runners will receive "pots of gold" string bags with complimentary museum memberships, gift certificates, free beverage coupons and more, while supplies last. Bibs and bags can be picked up at the museum (370 Broadway, Albany) on Friday, 3/16 from 1-4pm. We will also offer "Day Of" registration from 10-11:30am.
The start and finish of the race is now at the intersection of State and James Streets. The 3.1 mile route heads up Washington and Central Avenues to Ontario Street and then back down the same way. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3, male and female finishers. Parking is available in the parking garage on Pine St. behind City Hall and the Hilton Hotel.
