The screening of this important film - the first one ever made about the Great Hunger - will be prefaced by a short lecture by Dr. Elizabeth Stack. P J Dillon, one of the writers of the film, is from the same hometown as Elizabeth, and so she will fill us in on the inspiration for the film. There will be a Q & A after the movie.
