Join us at the museum on Saturday February 4th at 7.00pm for an evening of craic agus ceol (fun and music) with the Capital Region’s premiere all-woman Irish Band, Triskele! We are celebrating St. Brigid, the Matron Saint of Ireland, whose feast day is recognized during the Celtic festival of Imbolc. For Celts, Imbolc marked the end of winter and the impending light half of the year, acknowledging new life and fertility.
We are excited to bring in the new light of the Spring season and honor Saint Brigid. Come celebrate the divine feminine with Triskele, who have broken barriers as an ensemble of women performing Celtic music, sometimes singing songs in the Gaelic language. We hope to see you there!
Tickets are available for purchase ($10 for museum members, $15 for non-members)
